Join our community of nearly 2,000 contributors to publish your perspective, share your narrative and shape the global discourse. Become a Fair Observer and help us make sense of the world.
Remember, we produce a crowdsourced multimedia journal and welcome content in all forms: articles, podcasts, videos, photo essays, infographics and interactive features. Think of us as a global community like Medium, Al Jazeera English or The Guardian’s Comment is Free on world affairs. You could also compare us to The Huffington Post, except that we work closely with our contributors, provide feedback and enable them to achieve their potential.
We have a reputation for being thoughtful and insightful. The US Library of Congress recognizes us as a journal with ISSN 2372-9112 and publishing with us puts you in a select circle.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Please let us know which topics you plan to focus on via the form below. If you are a first-time contributor, click here to fill out your details and make sure that you send us your color photo (minimum of 300 x 300 pixels). We will try to respond within 14 days of hearing from you.
Once we receive your details and photo, we will send you login details to the Fair Observer system where you can submit content.
For time-sensitive articles, please email us and state “urgent” in the subject line and explain your reasons for doing so.
We request our contributors to write in US English, use spell-check and include their sources as hyperlinks. For more details, please take a look at our Editorial Guidelines.
