Saima Afzal is a Pakistani geopolitical analyst based in Islamabad, specializing in South Asian security, counterterrorism, Afghanistan, the Middle East and Indo-Pacific strategic affairs. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National Defence University, Islamabad.
