Vitaliy Deynega, born in Kyiv, Ukraine, is a key figure in digital transformation and defense. He founded the charity “Come Back Alive”, supporting the Ukrainian military with modern equipment like drones and thermal imagers. Deynega’s efforts earned him state awards, including the Order of Merit. In 2023, he became Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense for digital development, crucial during the war with Russia. He is also the Development Director at Ukrainian Witness, documenting war stories and launching an interactive platform recognized by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
