Nasir Khilji

Nasir Khilji retired as a senior economist from the US Treasury. As a macroeconomist, he conducted studies, developed policies and attended the twice-yearly series of meetings of the “Troika” group. This apex policymaking unit comprises economists from the Treasury, the President’s Council of Economic Advisers, and Office of Management and Budget, who make ten-year economic policy forecasts for the US government. Nasir is an avid tennis player, a lover of music and a connoisseur of world cinema, He has traveled widely and drove from Paris to Lahore in 1977. Nasir holds a PhD from McMaster University in Canada and an MS  from Indiana State University. In his youth, Nasir studied at Lawrence College in Murree, Pakistan’s oldest boarding school.
