Arnold Isaacs is an American journalist and author known for reporting on the final stages of the Vietnam War for The Baltimore Sun. As a foreign correspondent and bureau chief, he witnessed the 1975 fall of Saigon, an experience that heavily informed his critically acclaimed books, including Without Honor: Defeat in Vietnam and Cambodia and Vietnam Shadows: The War, Its Ghosts, and Its Legacy. A member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, Isaacs transitioned to global education, training journalists in over 20 countries and serving as a visiting professor at institutions like Johns Hopkins University.
