Women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted are making their voices heard.

The US has slowly drawn the curtains back on the grim reality of the prevalence of sexual misconduct, and the nation’s leader stands at the forefront of this revelation. Considering that President Donald Trump has yet to face consequences for the allegations against him, he proves that power and wealth hold enough authority to allow such crude behavior to go unpunished.

Trump has stood in defense of men who are accused of assault. Recordings have also been found of him making lewd comments about groping women, and numerous cases of sexual misconduct have surfaced, all of which he has denied and claimed the victims were lying.

No longer will the conversation of sexual assault go unheard. Women and social justice groups are demanding action and for the perpetrators to be held accountable. UltraViolet, an organization aimed at fighting sexism, has urged Congress to investigate sexual assault allegations against Trump. In the wake of the #MeToo campaign, women who have accused Trump of harassment have gained national support in their efforts to seek justice.

In this video, Brave New Films features the stories of 16 women who have reported being sexually assaulted by Trump, shining a light on how his top-tier status has let him get away with these allegations for years.
