Sarah Barrie

Sarah Barrie is a teacher and freelance journalist who focuses on Latin America. With years of experience working with the Latin American community, particularly with at risk youth and young women, Barrie is dedicated to the anti-human trafficking movement and women’s empowerment, both of which she gained experience with while working at organizations such as Care International and the Organization of American States. She has over five years experience in education and has taught in the US and abroad. She holds a Master’s in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the American University, and a Bachelor’s in Spanish and International Studies from Virginia Tech.
