Sara Meyer lives and works as a freelance journalist in Bogotá, Colombia. She studied law, international relations, and Latin American studies in Germany, Greece and Colombia. In August 2025, Meyer traveled to Uganda as part of a research trip organized by the German Society for the United Nations on the topic of “Women, Peace, Security.”
