Roman is a member of the Moldovan Bar and an experienced lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience. He specializes in banking, finance, M&A and regulatory matters, advising various banks and financial institutions on expansion projects and financing issues, including commodities and trade finance. Before joining Vernon | David, Roman worked at the Moldovan Ministry of Justice’s Foreclosure and Enforcement Department, where he helped draft key legislation on debt recovery in both Russian and Romanian. His commercial practice encompasses mergers, acquisitions and general contracting matters. He previously led the Legal Committee at AmCham and currently serves on the Board of the European Business Association, the second largest business association in Moldova.
