Nilosree Biswas is an author and filmmaker who received her training in Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and later pursued a career in cinema. Her creative works, both in film and writing, have been featured in various print publications and screened internationally, including at the Cannes Film Festival. One of Nilosree’s notable documentaries, Broken Memory, Shining Dust, has earned a place in the archives of the Oscar Library. Additionally, her book Alluring Kashmir: The Inner Spirit, which she co-authored with Irfan Nabi, is now part of the Library of Congress.
