Luna Rovira

Luna Rovira is a French-Spanish graduate student with a degree in Political Science, specialized in International Relations and Organizations from Leiden University. She is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in European Affairs at Columbia University and the London School of Economics. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of international relations and political economy, with a focus on how states and institutions use policy frameworks to shape global governance outcomes. Her research examines how the European Union leverages sustainability not only as a normative commitment but also as a strategic instrument to project its influence in Asia through international development frameworks, including work on adapting European sustainability models in Southeast Asian contexts. Having lived across Europe and Asia, she brings a nuanced, cross-regional perspective to questions of sustainability, governance and international cooperation.
