Lorena del Castillo

Lorena del Castillo is a Peruvian researcher and communication consultant based in the Netherlands. With 15 years of experience in sustainable development and urban governance, she has worked with organizations like UNESCO and CARE International, designing impactful research and strategies for marginalized communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, a Master of Arts in Social Management and another in Latin American Studies. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Geography at the University of Amsterdam. Lorena has presented at international conferences, and her publications cover topics such as spatial justice, heritage conservation and gentrification. She balances her professional and family life with a passion for travel.
