Lona Mariwany is a writer and translator of various literary genres. She has produced numerous poems in both English and Arabic, many literary articles and two novels in English. Her first translated book, “Kustiny Balindey Lasaiykerewe” (To Kill a Mockingbird), will be released in November 2015 and her second, “Rojeky Tirm Berewe” (For One More Day), in early 2016. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Translation at the University of Sulaimani, Iraq.
