Katja Anger

Katja has lived in diverse countries (South Africa, France, Mali, Rwanda, the US, and Haiti) since age 15. She has been working for two years in the humanitarian and development industry. A native German, she speaks three languages fluently and is currently in the process of learning two more (Haitian Creole and Kiswahili). Katja is an avid scholar contributed to the publishing of an Amnesty International Report on African Migrant Expulsions in Europe. Katja completed her Bachelor and Master’s studies in International Relations in Paris and New York with honours. She loves traveling to Africa & reading books on humanitarian affairs, the aid industry, and conflict mediation. Zanzibar in Tanzania is her favorite spot on the globe.
