Kartik Kilachand is the executive chairman and co-founder of the nonprofit IIT-IIT.org, which aims to harness the collective power of more than 300,000 IIT alumni for scaling up Indian non-governmental organizations. He is also the chairman of Edusynch, a US-based technology company formed to provide affordable assessment of an individual’s English Language proficiency. Kartik was a leading entrepreneur in the cross-border fast-moving consumer goods space. He co-founded Tasty Bite, the top brand of ready-to-eat Indian food which Mars Inc. bought, and Maaza Mango that Coca-Cola took over. An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Cornell and UC Berkeley, this marathon runner has moved back to India to give back to society.
