Benjamin Delille is a French journalist and the US correspondent for the daily newspaper Libération, founded in Paris by Jean-Paul Sartre and Serge July in 1973 in the wake of the protest movements of May 1968. He covers US politics, international affairs and global power dynamics, with a strong focus on on-the-ground reporting and field investigations. Between 2018 and 2020, Benjamin was a foreign correspondent in Venezuela, a country he has returned to several times to produce in-depth reportages on political crises, declining institutions and social change. He has also previously served as deputy editor of Libération’s international desk, and his work focuses on democracy, power and the global consequences of domestic politics. Outside journalism, Benjamin has a deep love for the mountains and long-distance running.
