Alexandros Ouzounis is an early-career International Relations researcher, analyst and writer focusing on democratic backsliding, conflict and humanitarian issues. He graduated with a Master’s degree in International Relations from Richmond American University, London. During his MA, Alexandros completed an externship with the International Maritime Organization in London. Alexandros is currently collaborating with Vanguard Think Tank as Co-Chair of their Democratization research team, in addition to his editorial positions with Atlas Institute for International Affairs and Fair Observer. His published work includes a research paper titled “Competitive Authoritarianism In Practice,” published by Vanguard, and contributions to Fair Observer.
