Wanida Lewis is the 2019 gender in foreign policy fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. She lives in Washington, DC, where she is a business owner and program analyst for women's economic empowerment programs, with a background in policy. Lewis holds a BSc in Chemistry from Saint Augustine's University, an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from North Carolina Central University, and a PhD in Food Science from North Carolina State University.
