Veit Bachmann is Project Director EuroGaps at the Department of Human Geography, Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Germany.For the past 7 years he has been working in the field of global North-South relations, both academically and practically. His particular interest is in the geopolitical and geoeconomic role of the EU; geographically most of his work is in East Africa.
