Usama Malik

Usama Malik is a global business leader whose perspective has been shaped by living and working across Africa, Asia, the US and Europe. Beyond his executive roles — where he has transformed healthcare companies and raised billions in capital — Usama has spent three decades advancing healthcare equity, women’s and children’s rights, disaster recovery and arts access in underserved communities. He has written broadly on a wide range of topics, including religious dogmatism in Pakistan, Palestinian rights, capitalism’s limitations and the rise of authoritarianism. Usama advocates for business models that transcend traditional profit motives to address humanity’s pressing challenges. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and completed his MBA at INSEAD.
