Uri Marantz holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Windsor. In the past he has undertaken research projects for the Hudson Institute and the Foreign Policy Research Institute in the United States of America. He contributes regularly to journals and magazines and has published pieces on Canadian foreign policy and the new politics of the Middle East.
