Tomás Michael Carvallo is a senior intelligence analyst specializing in Latin America for Global Guardian, an international security firm based in McLean, Virginia, that provides its clients with access to a comprehensive suite of duty-of-care services. He has written on security, armed conflict and organized crime in Latin America for the Small Wars Journal, Woodrow Wilson Center and InSight Crime.
