Steven E. Hendrix is a former senior US diplomat and US Agency for International Development (USAID) official who served in Ghana, Nigeria, Latin America and the Middle East. He was formerly the Senior USAID Coordinator for Foreign Assistance at the State Department. He is an attorney in the US, Bolivia, Guatemala and Ghana. Steven is the Chair of the International Practice Section, State Bar of Wisconsin, and a Senior Research Fellow for the International Human Rights Law Institute, DePaul College of Law. He serves on the editorial board of the Foreign Service Journal, the Council of the American Bar Association (ABA) Government and Public Sector Lawyers Division, and the ABA Standing Committee on Law and National Security.
