Scott A. Westerfield retired from the US Marine Corps in 2020 as a Lieutenant Colonel after three decades in uniform, including four years as an enlisted sailor in the US Navy from 1991 to 1994. His last tour of duty prior to retiring his uniform was serving as the US Marine Attache and senior US Naval Attache in the US Embassy in Muscat, Oman. As a government civilian, he served as the US Marine Corps’ Director of Foreign Liaison from 2021 to 2026. Scott is now the CEO of Ian Nicholas Holdings LLC and works as an international business consultant.
