Saskia van Genugten is a PhD candidate in the European Studies Department at SAIS Johns Hopkins University and a Dutch citizen. She works on issues regarding Europe and Islam and Europe-North Africa relations. Her dissertation is on the history and present of Italian and British relations to Libya.
