Sarojesh Mukerjee

Sarojesh Mukerjee was born into a family with old and deep roots in Calcutta and brought up among four generations of the clan in his ancestral home, with a heritage stretching back about one hundred and fifty years. Thus surrounded by history since a young age, Sarojesh’s interest in it was increased manifold by the excellent professors, in particular George Steckley and Gregory Pfitzer of the History Department, at Knox College, USA, from 1985–1989. He is the founder of The Cambridge School, Calcutta where he teaches Economics and occasionally History. He lives in Calcutta with his family including his dogs, Pongo, Bingo & Mojo.
