Özsel Beleli, a proud İzmirli, has a master’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She has worked on human rights and socio-economic development issues in Turkey and in East Africa in non-governmental and international organizations. Her areas of personal interest include peace building, education policy, and exploring the power of social innovation. She is currently dividing time between Cambridge, Massachusetts and Turkey. The real journey is not seeing 100 countries; it is seeing one country with 100 eyes.
