Natalie Pitimson is a senior lecturer in sociology at the University of Brighton. Her research focuses on the sociology of death as well as new media and technology. Her first book, “Death and Society,” will be published by Palgrave in 2017, and her current research project explores the role of mobile and app technologies in suicide prevention in young people. Pitimson holds a PhD from the University of Warwick.
