Nan Levinson is a Boston-based journalist. She reports on civil liberties, politics and culture. Nan has written for The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, Women’s Review of Books, In These Times, Boston Phoenix, SuperLawyer, American Way, TomDispatch and Huffington Post. Nan was the US correspondent for the Index on Censorship and taught journalism and fiction writing at Tufts University. Her most recent book is War Is Not a Game: The New Antiwar Soldiers and the Movement They Built.
