Mick Collins

Mick Collins worked for 12 years as a UK National Health Service (NHS) occupational therapist in adult acute mental health settings and in a psychological therapies team. He then worked for 10 years as a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, University of East Anglia (UEA). His main research interests are focused on transformative experiences and actualizing human potential. Collins has written two books. In 2014, he won the Scientific and Medical Network book prize and was “author in profile” at the 2014 Hostry Festival. He was interviewed about his work at the 2015 International Hay Festival for Literature and has appeared on Conscious TV. He is also a writer and holistic coach.
