Megan Squire is a professor of computer science at Elon University in North Carolina, US. She uses data science techniques to understand right-wing extremism, niche online communities and cybersecurity. She has published books and articles on a variety of topics, including Islamophobia, women in the radical right, toxicity in software development communities and doing data science using open source methods. She currently serves as a senior fellow at the Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right.
