Maximilian Hess is the head of political risk consulting at AKE International, where he also serves as principal analyst for Europe and Eurasia. He is a graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and Franklin & Marshall College. His writing has been featured in Foreign Policy, The Telegraph and The Moscow Times, amongst others.
