Maria Moroz, born in Kherson, Ukraine, is a passionate cultural project manager and communications specialist. She has a deep connection to her hometown and its landscapes, which inspires her work. Now based in Kyiv, she draws energy from the capital. Her childhood interests in puzzles and play evolved into a career focused on bringing large-scale projects to life through collaboration. Maria has a background in Ukrainian Philology, Foreign Literature and Records Management from Kherson State University, with further studies in journalism and public relations. Her career spans journalism, event management and cultural projects, including her role at GOGOL FEST and documenting Ukraine’s resilience. In 2023, she showcased Ukrainian art at Burning Man and continues to support Ukrainian installations, highlighting resilience during the war.
