Luthfi Dhofier is a Canadian public policy expert and author specializing in climate policy, international trade and security, Canada-Asia relations, housing policy, and Southeast Asian politics and culture. He serves as President of the Canadian International Council (CIC) Vancouver and on Board of Directors at the Canada-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce. Dhofier is the co-author of Understanding Human Security and Climate Change (Edward Elgar, 2024), exploring the interlinkages between climate change and human security. Born and raised in Indonesia and trained in Canada, Luthfi earned his Master of Public policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia and a BA in Chinese history and political science from Kwantlen University.
