Luthfi Dhofier is a Canadian public policy expert and author specializing in geopolitics, climate policy, and Southeast Asian politics. He is the founder of Meridian Gate Advisory, a strategy and international trade consulting firm with locations in Canada and Indonesia. Luthfi also serves as President of the Canadian International Council (CIC) Vancouver and on Board of Directors at the Canada-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce. Luthfi is the co-author of Understanding Human Security and Climate Change (Edward Elgar, 2024) and editor of The Human Rights of Climate Change (Palgrave MacMillan, 2025). He has also written commentaries for various global and Canadian publications Luthfi earned his Master of Public policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia and a BA in Chinese history and political science from Kwantlen University.
