Lars Løkke Rasmussen is a Danish politician serving as the Minister for Foreign Affairs since December 15, 2022. He previously held the position of Prime Minister from April 2009 to October 2011 and again from June 2015 to June 2019. Lars has also served as Minister for Finance (2007–2009) and Minister for the Interior and Health (2001–2007). In June 2021, he founded the centrist political party Moderaterne (The Moderates), officially established in June 2022. A lawyer by training, Lars earned his Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen in 1992. Lars and his wife Sólrun have three children.
