Kwame Anthony Appiah is a cultural theorist, philosopher and novelist who teaches at the New York University's Department of Philosophy and School of Law. He was previously a Laurance S. Rockefeller University professor of philosophy at Princeton University. He was on the list of Global Thought Leaders 2015 by The World Post and, in June 2017, was named by the Carnegie Corporation of New York as one of its 2017 "Great Immigrants." Appiah has given lectures across the world and won several international awards and accolades.
