Jasper Craven

Jasper Craven is an American investigative journalist and author. He earned degrees in journalism and political science from Boston University, where he completed a Boston Globe fellowship. He began his career by writing a 2018 exposé that uncovered rampant sexual misconduct within the Vermont Air National Guard, which forced legislative reforms and leadership changes. Craven specializes in the US military, veteran healthcare and defense infrastructure. His features and op-eds frequently appear in elite national publications like The New York TimesHarper’s and The Atlantic. He is also a reporting fellow at Type Investigations and a policy fellow at the Veterans Healthcare Policy Institute, utilizing his institutional knowledge to analyze accountability.
