Govindraj Ethiraj is a renowned Indian television and print journalist and founder of IndiaSpend.com and Factchecker.in, two public-interest journalism websites. He is also the founder of DataBaaz, India's first data-led, mobile-first, video story platform, as well as Boom, a fact-checking initiative, and Ping Digital Broadcast, an online multi-channel network. Ethiraj was also the founder and editor-in-chief of Bloomberg TV India. Prior to that, he has worked with CNBC TV18, The Economic Times, Business India and Business Standard, as well as with the Unique Identification Authority of India. He is a fellow of the Aspen Institute, Colorado, and a winner of the BMW Foundation Responsible Leadership Award for 2014 and the 2018 McNulty Prize.
