Eric Ross is a PhD candidate in the History Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he is writing a dissertation on scientific responsibility in the first decade of the atomic age. He also teaches courses on the Modern Middle East, Modern US and Modern World History, as well as seminars on Cold War culture with an emphasis on film and television. Outside the classroom, Eric is a regular public speaker and writer on US foreign policy, and is a campus, community and national organizer engaged in a range of progressive causes related to antimilitarism and anti-imperialism.
