Elena Sarver is the legal adviser at the Global Justice Center, based in New York City. While in law school, she participated in two yearlong clinics, the Innocence Project as well as the Human Rights and Atrocity Prevention Clinic, where she researched sexual and gender-based violent crimes for regional human rights litigation. She also interned at the National Institute for Reproductive Health. Sarver received her BA in Political Science from Macalester College and studied abroad in Egypt at the American University in Cairo. She holds a JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
