Dr. Sugandha Nagpal (Ph.D. in International Development, University of East Anglia) is an Associate Professor in the School of International Affairs at O.P. Jindal Global University (Haryana, India). She is trained as an anthropologist and over the last 15 years has been working on issues of international migration, youth mobility, rural development and gender in India. Sugandha is a keen observer of everyday life in rapidly transforming urban and rural landscapes in India and is continually exploring the role that anthropological insights can play in furthering our understanding of key social shifts and governance challenges.
