William “Bill” Klun is an energy finance and forensic accounting professional with more than three decades of experience. His career has covered oil and gas, refining, pipelines, electric power, renewable energy, emissions markets and energy technology, including senior advisory roles for C-suite leaders, private equity firms, hedge funds and financial institutions. Bill served as Vice President and Co-Head of DZ Bank’s energy corporate finance group, where he played senior roles in major restructurings, including Enron, Williams Companies, PG&E NEG and Mirant. He later switched his focus to forensic accounting and fraud examination, where he applies financial analysis, accounting and legal insight to uncover evidence and support attorneys in civil and criminal matters. Bill holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, an MA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
