Barry Fay is the president of Lost in Translation, a Berlin-based translation company with clients that include the Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin, where two of his translated books were published: “Man, Technology” and “Net Matters — 30 Stories from Telegraph Cables to Data Glasses.” An American who lives in Germany, he graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a double history and philosophy major. Fay worked for two years at Time magazine, and he has written two unpublished novels.
