Mr. Arun Reddy Anugu is a master’s student at Carnegie Mellon University, US, with interests in artificial intelligence and machine learning and their applications to real-world human and development challenges. He holds a bachelor’s in technology in Computer Science from IIT Gandhinagar, where he was awarded the Ajodyabai Gulabchandji Randad Scholarship. His technical expertise includes Python, C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow and JAX, with experience in deep learning, computer vision and natural language processing. He is particularly interested in development challenges affecting developing countries and the potential of emerging technologies to address them. Outside academics, he enjoys farming, trekking and tennis.
