Arash Beidollahkhani holds a PhD in Political Science and is a Research Fellow at the Global Development Institute, The University of Manchester, and the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO), Berlin. He is an interdisciplinary political scientist whose research focuses on the transformation of authoritarian politics and governance in non-Western contexts, with particular attention to the Middle East and Central Asia. His work examines authoritarian resilience, digital politics and state–society relations in post-conflict and transitional settings.
