Anvesh Thirukovalluru is an Associate Director with the Centre for Business Innovation, Indian School of Business. He is a Mechanical Engineer by qualification and an ICICI Fellow with a PG Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development. He spent the initial years of his career working on mainframe coding and process optimization projects for North American insurance and healthcare clients. Prior to his current stint in academic research and management, he spent about 12 years in the social development sector, pursuing "meaning-making for self" through people-oriented work. He is a generalist and held diverse responsibilities, ranging from program design, implementation of projects in rural livelihoods, women empowerment, public health, to deploying technology solutions for social good to achieve scale, efficiency in ‘monitoring and evaluation’ systems.
