Dr. A. Amarender Reddy is an expert specializing in agricultural economics, rural development and the monitoring and evaluation of government programs. He is currently a principal scientist at the Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture in Hyderabad, India. Earlier, Reddy served as director of India's National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management. He has also held senior positions with ICGIAR-International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), the Bankers Institute of Rural Development and the Administrative Staff College of India.
