Yoav Galai is a PhD candidate in the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews. He was a photojournalist in Jerusalem for several years before quitting to enter academia. His research focuses on collective memory, history, narrative and international relations. He is particularly interested in Israel-Palestine as well as collective memory disputes in Europe.
