Yagiz Atay completed his undergraduate education in Psychology and Political Science at Bilgi University, where he developed an interdisciplinary foundation that bridges human behavior and political dynamics. He earned his master’s degree in Intelligence Studies at the Turkish National Defense University, focusing on intelligence failures in his thesis, which examined the complexities and contributing factors behind critical intelligence lapses. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Security Studies at the same institution, where his research interests include intelligence analysis, national security strategies and risk management. Yagiz aims to contribute to the understanding of intelligence practices, decision-making processes and the evolving challenges of security in an increasingly complex global environment.
