Tanya Abraham is the curator and director of Kashi Art Gallery in Kochi, India, and the founder of The Art Outreach Society. Originally from the region of the famed ancient port of Muziris, born to parents of two different Christian communities and growing up in Fort Kochi, Tanya has always been fascinated by differences in traditions and religious influences based on history. She has worked as a journalist for the last 15 years with both Indian and international publications. An art curator, educator and writer, she writes on subjects she is passionate about: Her previous book was on the history and heritage of her home town, Fort Kochi.
